Write a description of your system, how you're trying to communicate with your printer, how your network is configured, and what results you see. For example, using the CUPS admin page http://localhost:631 is the printer on-line and sitting idle waiting for a job? What happens when you use that interface to print a test page (under the printer maintenance menu)? Sometimes, deleting the printer and re-installing it fixes communications problems. Give that a try. Then tell us what you've tried and the results. Less expensive and quicker than a home visit in many cases. Worth a try.
