hack-free and virus-free i leave others to comment on that. however, i
would like to comment on graphics designing. some people who work here
with me do graphics design too. for image editing we use gimp. which is
beautiful...i can even say at some point it is better than photoshoppe. i
personally use the ImageMagick suite of applications very often to convert
from one format to another or make little mpeg cartoons. i do not really
know much about video editing. but you can do a search in freshmeat. i
suppose there are apps that you can find there.
