#under Linux, it's gcc, emacs and gdb for me. I don't write much from scratch
#though; mostly debugging and patching existing open source.

Well, if you guys have questions.. just throw them in. My Windows, Linux,
and Solaris development may be rusty, but I used to do x-platform server
apps for Windows, Linux, and Solaris (yes, lots of #ifdef's.. but I've
found that having better OO design can hide those). I also did MFC, Win32
API, COM, and OCX development in Windows in a previous incarnation.
Before I forget, in a previous, previous incarnation, I also did COM in
Solaris (did a few tweakings, and components development w/ Real Server
for Solaris)
