yes, we are.
that's absolutely the wrong tack to take, although i would suspect that
RMS wouldn't mind too much ("non-free software is immoral").

people who get into these GUI dev environments want a GUI builder, that's
what i've found. doing GUI's by hand in GCC (believe me, i've tried, using
first XForms and now GTK+) is... kinda painful.
Gtk-Perl fixes some of these issues (the ease of Perl!! the pretty GUI of
Gtk+!) but you still can't beat a VB-like environment.
although that said, the last Pascal I used was Turbo Pascal 3.0 on a
4.77MHz XT. i'm not going back!
