#> What got you started in Linux?

As a CoE student in Mapua (1994), 'wanted to learn Unix but there wasn't
any in school.  Some BBS dude, Mike Merillana, lent me a Debian (what it
slackware?) CD which he got from a magazine.  'Got it installed, but
removed in after a few days since 'had to finish a report, and 'didn't
have time to learn a new tool.

#> Who influenced you into using Linux, if any?

'Got back to Linux in 1996, with the help of a couple of Maroons -- Ian
Caparro, and Gil Prudente.

#> Where did you first learn about Linux?
Minix newsgroup archive back when I was taking up an OS class in Mapua.

#> How did you get your copy of Linux?
Borrowed.

#> When did you first hear about Linux?
Minix newsgroup

#> When did you actually use Linux for the first time?
1996.


#> When did you install Linux on your own 'puter?
1996

#> Why did you decide to try Linux out?
No, noble reason. 'Just wanted to try out something new.


#> Why do you still use Linux? 
Dunno.

#> What is your favorite thing about Linux?
The name, and the mascot.
