yes i agree the djb license does not conform to the
wholeness of term opensource
http://www.opensource.org/docs/definition.html

my fault to call djbs work as open source (not
opensourced licenced)
as i said it has strict licensing
IT IS NOT GPL'ED OR BSD LICENSED that simple :)

false - you can modify it and use it just don't
redistribute it
xoom.com is running on a heavily modified qmail
package
you can make patches ( i.e. you cannot redistribute
binary packages of the modified source)
"quoted from www.opensource.org"
4. Integrity of The Author's Source Code
The license may restrict source-code from being
distributed in modified form only if the license
allows the distribution of "patch files" with the
source code for the purpose of modifying the program
at build time.
basically in the term opensource you just can't modify
anything and redistribute it if the license dispermit
you to.
he has this thinking ( change my style of programming
and you shall just introduce bugs thing) which is
ofcourse acceptable to the sane mind, but then again
people will tend to disagree right? :)
That's the worst

yes i do agree, it does ring an alarm again like i
said before look not on his flames and ego
( this is what i think made him write that license)
and look at his work and you will find it very
interesting and worthwhile

I AM NOT DEPENDING DJB or his license
note:
it is just for discussion that we correct what we see
is wrong and agree to the things what we see is right.
Things should be based at facts not feelings.
