ide is fast than scsi if there is only one disk attaching to a single cable.
therefore you are correct... but if you have multiple of disks on a single
cable, scsi will outperform ide.

thats correct because it distributes the load across all disks which lessen
the load compare to a single disk.

true but it depends what kind of application do you want to implement to
your raid drive. for example of proxy service, raid 0 will do the job
because the data of http is not important but if you are running a database
application, then either raid 1 or raid 5 is your choice.
