that "/usr/src/linux/kdb" wasn't there with the vanilla kernel nor in
my jfs-enabled kernel so it definitely came from the xfs patch. i
checked said directory and it contained files written by people from
sgi. i looked at the xfs website again and the only reference i saw
about "kdb" is for the 2.4.5 kernel.
if the missing patches are available only via cvs it should have been
mentioned there thus saving people online time.
i'm giving xfs a rest. why would they force me to do cvs when jfs
don't.
reiserFS here i come!
