Definitely Linux and unix are friends and its a fact that unix was never
insecure with Linux as in the case of MS. Proponents aim for this
project is to present an alternative to the expensive MS solutions and
provide an alternative system that is more stable and reliable without
sacrificing usability and stability. Linux definitely can provide an
inexpensive solution to this problem. From database system, desktop needs
and networking, I believe most us will agree that Linux is very viable,
inexpensive and sound non-propriatary solution.
