For enterprise computing, solaris+iplanet platform
can't be beat in the current moment of time.

iplanet is even free for devel. and eval. purposes.
You only have to buy it if you will be using it for 
production purposes. You might want to check it out
if it fits your needs.

Alot uses it, and it's regarded as very scalable and 
supported well.
