Neat! I wonder, though, why Python is in the list of web application
development languages when in reality it's a general-purpose programming
language, and has a place (IMHO) at least in systems/network glue coding,
and perhaps even in large scale and complex applications.

And Python can do Windows GUI programming too, using aside from the
TKinter library, the awesome wxPython <http://www.wxpython.org/> which can
be used for native Linux GUI, too (using GTK+ I think...).

And IMHO Python is a -VERY- good introductory programming language, for CS
majors and non-CS majors. I'm enjoying it very much. :)

Hehehe. ;>

Also, about the Collaborative Development Tools section: what do you guys
think of Savannah <http://savannah.gnu.org/>, the alternative to
SourceForge(tm)? Eric Pareja's been mentioning this in chat recently, so I
just thought I'd mention it here.

But you -can- sell it, right? It's just that you have to sell it complete
with the source code. And of course whoever you sold it to can sell it
again and not give any royalties to you, which I think really makes this
"selling" instead of just selling.
