pwede naman yun siguro. yung mga high-tech simulations pwede, kaso medyo malupit talaga effort dun. simple database systems for local farmers na pwedeng accessed through the municipal offices, pwede rin. kahit sa mga barangay offices na meron nang existing systems, pwede magkaroon ng simple databases na implemented using OSS. sa agriculture, pwede siguro yung mga analysis tools like pang-analyze and document ng crop data yearly, or even quarterly para magkaroon ng informed and tachnically sound forecast and data ang DA (defartment of agriculture) - OSS. kaso, these would really take time and effort - and especially ca$h. pwede naman gawin yun as a project for the community, pero malabo - konti na lang ang hyppocrites and die-hard-OSS fans na kilala ko at least. this can be done. pero it would have to be a collaboratin between the parties involved. maybe the corporate people would want to take on these challenges kasi sila naman ang may kakayanang magpagalaw ng manpower and fera e. :-) -- --------- Dean Michael Berris UPLB Computer Science Society --------- _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
