Your original post was "POSIX compliance." A "not perfect" emulation
is, strictly speaking, not compliance. But that's nitpicking.

Yeah, Cygwin rocks. If I had to live in a Windoze environment, I'd use
Cygwin and the ActiveState tools all the time.

But I don't have to live in a Windoze environment.

And arguably, I PREFER the Linux desktop to the Windoze desktop. So what
is it exactly about the XP desktop that's so compelling over say, a recent
GNOME or KDE? the fact you have a Control Panel? chrome? themes? what?

If this were the Philippine Bill Gates Brown-Nosing Users Group then your
comments would certainly be welcome.

But as it is I find your troll-baiting comments to be quite uninteresting
and unnecessary. Why is it exactly that you're pushing your personal
preferences on a bunch of people who PREFER Linux? Certainly I use NT/2k
and it has its uses, but I PREFER Linux.
