1) yeah right. no fork()
2) WinNT POSIX layer is incomplete unless you get Interix product

It's not a tech issue, but a licensing issue. The hardware "signature"
changes too much if you change the mobo, so XP (at least home ed, the
corporate ed is not node-locked) thinks it's been cloned to another PC.

Just another example of how Microsoft thinks it knows best.
