Wow.  Most meaningful post in this thread so far.  I'm sure it was 
brought about by the Doc's _maturity_.  All I can say is that the Doc have a 
point.  Eventhough we love linux so much, we must face the fact that there 
are some persons who see other OS'es as technically superior in some aspects. 
 There also is the _available applications_ side.  I personally can't get rid 
of windows because of Macromedia Dreamweaver and divx just plays better there 
(i'm talking about my machine of course).  Now I would really love it if 
someone could suggest a replacement for Dreamweaver with it's fabulous 
templating support.

I actually don't care about everyone kicking each other's @$$.  It's just 
that we must not resort to foul language.  And if someone was lambasted in a 
personal email, then keep it personal.  Try not to bring it anymore to the 
list because it looks like a little boy tugging on his brother's pants.  Send 
some of your colleagues or the administrators a personal note, but not to the 
lst.

Just my thoughts.  No need to flame.  I'm already dark-skinned as it is. =)
