imap-2000c should work fine in most cases and no need to dgrade to
ver 4.5. 

install and read the doc packs for package maildrop, series n of
yast. 

this should make you change the locations of your incoming mail frm
/var/spool/mail/(account) to something else and /home/username as
inbox..
