Yes they do, as the Sun/Linux Managers list proves it so \8)  Actually in
any endeavour, no matter how absurd it would be to the "outside" world, if
the group that adopts it follows the rules, and the rules are sound, i
think it would certainly work.

The leading instances of  such lists will not be a good example of what i
am saying as they adhere to the policies of the list.  If you apply such
rules to a group that isn't as well informed or isn't used to the rules,
that's the time the problem will occur; until people get up to speed on
the rules.

Agreed, i tend to mix both, which is my fault, as i wasn't clear about it.
