yup, i agree.  the only reason English was brought up was because most
Filipinos speak the language.

i'm not expecting anyone to master english, although i don't think it would
hurt, especially if you want to learn Math, Science, Physics or any other
subject matter that is better documented in English.  Of course, you could
also learn French, Russian, etc... like you mentioned.
