It is indeed hot. sandra sisoft burn-in will only
last for 30 seconds... after that, the asus mobo
kicks in and turns off the cpu. :(

It's so embarrasing, i have to underclock the Athlon
1700+ to approx. 1000+, For the sandra sisoft to
complete the burn-in suite.

I think additional fans and thermal paste will solve
this. Thanks to all for the suggestions and comments.
