hehehe... off topic thread... :)

anyway, the Athlon 1700+ temperature went
down down to 47C @ 2700rpm(cpu fan rpm)
idle and 50-52C for high loads. That from
a high idle of 60C few days ago. bought a
new power supply with dual fan, variable
speed exhaust fan, &Thermaltake Volcano 9.
Coming from the intel-pre-Ghz-cpu world,
was shocked of the heat generated by the
athlons and the hole in my wallet just to
acceptably cool it. :)

I'm not overclocking it, in fact, i'm under
clocking it so that I can reduce the fan
cpu noise. Underclock speed is adequate for
my needs.
