hmm...maybe...i actually use the setup you described (you must know
EVERYTHING, master Orly! :P ) but even before i installed the closed-source
X drivers of nvidia, it has hung up on me two times already. worse, one of
the hangups happened while I was at runlevel 3, which didn't have X windows
started!!! (meaning i was only at the console, nothing more, nothing less)
