hi!

i can see where you are coming from. plug and ph-linux-newbie can be
alienating. i'm an uber newbie subscribed to these mailing lists and there
are days when i check my mail and loads of messages come in. i scan each one
and i feel that they are speaking another language and i am so out of place.

but that's ok. i still think there is no need to create another mailing list
for us non-admin desktop users. we can share desktop tricks and talk about
cool apps here and then maybe for a change we can teach these techies a
lesson or two :)

but i am very interested in hearing talk about linux in a desktop
environment. i believe that development in this are is vital for linux to
capture a broader base of users, to catapult the linux revolution from the
grassroots.

i run a linux internet cafe and i will be very happy to hear some desktop
tips from you.
