The benchmark use JDK 1.3.1 i am using JDK 1.4.1_01, maybe java.sun.com
have performance report you can scrape rick.

The benchmark used Eclipse 2.1 M5(Milestone 5)

I am using Eclipse 2.1 RC3 (Release Candidate 3) which is a bit more
stable than M5. And does not have any benchmark tests yet..

Things may be different. Have you read the lines "..smaller, faster,
scalable" below the headers? bwahahahaha. :p
