Having played around with Eclipse, I must say that you seem to have 
pretty relaxed standards for "sleek performance".  Eclipse has "sleek
performance" in pretty much the same way StarOffice is resource-thrifty: 
The latter is true only by Adobe Photoshop standards.  ;->
