in my experience.. if you are gonna be a DBA, the OS issues become much 
less relevant. well i can only speak for myself, and only for Oracle, but 
Oracle is far more obscure than any UNIX, no matter what the UNIX is. so 
a UNIX certification is irrelevant to Oracle DBA work.
