well yeah. i don't use RHN myself. and the big red blinkenlight on the GUI panel telling you to update is annoying. :P i use RedCarpet myself. they have free mirrors eh (just pick from a list) so you don't have to suffer slow mirrors. although I have to point out -- RHN is like $60/year. even for Filipinos, that's affordable (enough). So support our favorite (well, *MY* favorite) Linux company -- buy RedHat boxed sets (I don't hahahahahaha but my friend does.. he has 6 - 9 all boxed) and subscribe to RHN. I mean -- I *AM* a leech too.
