The problem with that scheme is -- let's say you teach at ADMU, which is 
one of the better-paying schools out there (related to your 2nd question). 
Or worse, IS.

Those parents are paying your employer big bucks so that THEIR beloved 
brats can get an education. If you academic-Darwinism your students and 
they fail your courses, pretty soon employment mo yung ma-a-academic 
Darwinism.

Turo ka sa UP, where your employment is not dependent on parents' 
goodwill. Comparatively less naman ang sweldo.

And alam ko sa UP sub-20k ang starting. Baka sub-15k pa nga eh.. of course 
UP yun. Alam ko Ateneo is better in this regard. Pero at least sa UP, 
pwede ka mag postgrad at no cost. Baka makapunta ka pa sa Purdue or sa 
Imperial College UK (*cough cough*) hehehehehehehe..
