Microsoft is not an animal, rather it is a company with people working
in it, people whose goals and means of achieving them change over time
and who themselves are subject to change. Like I mentioned earlier,
Bill Gates no longer being CEO could be the reason for Microsoft's
switch to tactics which are much less obnoxious than before.
