I agree. That was also my impression on KDE when I first tried it, and
in 2.1.0 it didn't have proper support for antialiased fonts
(sigh). Gnome 1.4 was a lot better, since it didn't pretend to be
good-looking, but it was useful enough and didn't eat so much
memory. Sana lang gnome 2.8 optimizes the fat issue 2.6 has :D

Yeah. Moz is slow as hell when it first starts (just like OO.o) but
when it's all loaded recalling it is lightning fast. Maganda nga kapag
AA fonts. I can't even bear no AA in IE...

Heh, Win2k doesn't like RAM-strapped boxen, unless its
spartan. :D
