So what?!
actually, Its just an intro to my good news. :)

I see, so you've predicted the 'staircase' improvements
(which is now version 7.8, seven days ago) some 2 years
ago?
How I wish youve brought this up to the kdevelopers
back then. You could have spared Mr Kolivas, the time.
And to _all_ the other people who have spared their time
tracking down the bugs. (inc me)

Or maybe you just typed that, so the newer linux
users will know that you're an oldie in this list.
Just tell us you're an 'oldie', we will believe you =)

OK, I assume youre very very good at computing. So,
you know all the corners in both micro~1's kernel
and Linux'es. and all the functions envolving speed,
stability and security inside that program.

Well, I dont!, I know only a little about linux's,
but I dont know a thing about Microsoft's. All I
know is that It just died on me, a LOT of times
before. Loosing all my personal datas which where
irreplacable back then.
In my 8 years in linux, these catasthrophies did not
happen to me, even in an installation in that same
machine. I dont want other people to experience what
I've gone through, so Im preaching the good news about
Linux.
Now, do you expect me to believe in you telling me not
to be a zealot?

"Linux is not always the answer to any IT solutions"

Of course everybody who are in this list knows that!
even us newbies (what obvious reasons did we found
our way into this list).
Even with the obvious fact known to every linux user
that some applications intended for windows just can't
be 'run' into linux.
That's why all of us are working on it,helping/demanding
to make those applications available/portable inside linux.

So my turn to ask, why do you have to state the obvious?
If we are in a 'general IT' list, then I'll be more
open to variety of IT facts in the discussion.
But we are in a Linux mailing list, do you expect
the people reading here to believe you that micros~1
or OS/2 is far more better than Linux? and they should
switch to the other OS if they can't do it in Linux?
even without you stating what are the other
OPTIONS/applications that are already available
in Linux?

Dont be too 'balingbing' sir, you have to stand firm
into something. Even in technical passions like this.
Those generalized statements is insufficient to
portray someone as an open-minded individual on
these matters.

Or maybe youve mistaken a 'zealot' for a 'bigot'.
They're all different entities :)
