ALSA modules are loaded but do not seem to work....
alsamixer returns an error value.... etc.
once alsamixer worked but no sound can be produced by
the gui---even after setting it up.
Me reinstall windows? Not likely, the only reason a
dual boot (winsows & GNU Linux) exists is because it
is a shared computer. besides our other computer does
not have windows... and still the same thing happend
--- it shuts down fine and when you reboot you get
lots of "6 6 6 6 6..." displayed, then hang. virus?
How? hehehe
It seems to happen at random --not after a fixed
time...
Thanks
