El-cheapo power supply units either die out after a few months of
non-stop operation, or they become noisy over time (happening in here
already... getting the budget done to buy an Enermax PSU soon). These
power supply units do cost around twice or thrice the the norm (I got
an Enermax SSI PSU for about P7000 some six months ago) but they
perform really well.

One defining qualification of most branded servers is the inclusion of
higher-quality PSU's compared to ones shipped with desktops (which is
usually scrimped with COTS parts)
