Not quite, nobody refers to it as the Massachusetts Institute of Tech, it's
always Technology.  maybe that should be a distinguishing feature?  If it
ends in Tech == bad, ends in Technology == OK. :)  In all seriousness
though, Virginia Tech is a well ranked, well respected school despite the
"Tech."
