I've got a setup with an Antec Aria case, so I'm thinking I can possibly boot that up using the built-in card reader. Any idea how much space this would take up when extracted to a flash card? I have a 128M on hand, but I can pick up a new card without too much trouble.
Uncompressed it's currently about 270MB... Java is way too big (>80MB). Not even a 256MB card (which I recently saw for about USD 15 even here in Switzerland!) would do.
I've read about installing to hd or CF, or running directly from USB stick. The latter imho uses a similar approach as the CD and only needs to stock the compressed image. Can your board boot from USB devices?
