Librespot, library which Spotty depends on, takes the Premium 320 kbps Ogg Vorbis stream and transcodes it to PCM format, and Spotty converts this to FLAC. Both PCM and FLAC are lossless formats, so as far as I know you get the original 320 kbps Spotify Premium sound quality when streaming from Spotty...
librespot allows you to chose which stream to use. But I'm not exposing this option to Spotty, just using the 320kbps stream instead.
