LMS does not expect network setup to change when it is running. So if you start a VPN while LMS is running , or stop a VPN which was running when LMS was started - it will cause problems. I'd advise stopping LMS when playing around with the VPN. Also BBC has VPN detectors so you may get strange problems when using BBCiPlayer due toi BBC (who use CDNS such as akamai). Which control panel LMS Control Panel or Windows Conrl PAnel - I don;t use Windows LMS that often but I can;t see a setting for Proxy in the LMS Control Panel Windows AFAIK Settings in a Windows control panel will not get "inserted" into LMS setting - except for items such as IP address which are really just a copy taken at LMS startup. Proxy acting at Windows level should be invisible to LMS - if not then it is a bad proxy. Uninstalling and reinstalling s/w will do nothing. The plugin code saves nothing ansd reloads everything each time BBCiPlayer menu is entered. LMS gets details at startup. Your probelm may be related to caches. There are LMS caches and can be cleared using the LMS Control Panel Adfbaced Tab - Cleanup section. Stop LMS and Clear the cache rather than uninstall. Some Windows setups used to have very aggressive caching which could keep "bad" information for days - serving it up days after a problem has gone away. Not sure about Win10. Try clearing the Windows DNS cache from command prompt "ipconfig /flushdns" as it might be holding bad data. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
