As far as I can work out you have to define the ports for each application, and then allow an incoming request access to that application. So without knowing what ports are needed you can't define the application.
However, I seem to be able to get this to run most of the time. Sometimes it just doesn't want to know and either restarting the bridge, or powering the player off and on, sometimes more than once, fixes it. I've no idea why, but life is too short.....
