Normally, with the re-encode feature, you should be able to not use LMS for that anymore. I would be curious if it works with the M1, but it really should. The <encode> parameter should be, to test that: <encode>flac</encode> You probably do not need any of the sample size and sample rate forcing limitation and the flow is for gapless, you probably wnat to leave that aside for a first test LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2.
