Yes, I agree I need to sort out the playing via ffmpeg outside of LMS first.
The streams are definitely still playing (at the moment). I can drop http://aflliveradiohls348.ngcdn.telstra.com/afllive/aflradio_5/playlist.m3u8 into Safari on a Mac and it plays. (No default playing on Chrome - it just downloads the m3u8 file) I can see in the Safari developer mode it downloads the playlist.m3u8 then the http://aflliveradiohls348.ngcdn.telstra.com/afllive/aflradio_5/chunklist.m3u8 which then loads in the next stream. eg. http://aflliveradiohls348.ngcdn.telstra.com/afllive/aflradio_5/media-uehkmoil5_8112.aac I'll have to do a bit more research on why the streams have changed this year and ffmpeg can't handle them.
