Thanks Paul, crikey its a brain ache these days for me! I think one thing that helps is using the older version of Apple Pi Baker - its a simpler interface. So what Ive done so far is:
Download the version of PiCore Player I think will run on my RasPi & unzip it to reveal the .img file Put the SD card in the iMac card reader Opened Apple Pi Baker & formatted for Noobs the SD card Used Restore from back-up on Apple Pi Baker & selected my downloaded PiCore img file I downloaded. Now, as I understand it this means the PiCore player should be on the SD card ready to use but when I place it in the Pi & then connect to it via Ethernet I cannot seem to see it - at least not to access the settings to set the input data mode (WiFi/Ethernet etc). So does anyone know how I get to this stage?
