This is kind of awkward for my usage. I have "Don't Stop the Music (DSTM)" enabled and set to MusicIP for all my players (this combination is the best invention since the birth of LMS and MusicIP's demise into the realm of the Undead, btw). This is a one off setting for me that I never want or need to change - whenever a situation occurs where a playlist would come to an end, I want MusicIP to kick in. Still I want, err, actually: my son urges me from time to time to put a song on repeat for him. Another use case is my son's sleeping playlist, which I set on playlist repeat of course. In both cases, it doesn't make sense for me having to disable DSTM, because I want it to be active and set to MusicIP once repeat mode is disabled again. So while the current implementation implies that DSTM and Repeat Modes are mutually exclusive alternatives, it appears to me the actual relation is that a Repeat Mode can be selected on top of a persisting, unaltered DSTM setting, temporarily overshadowing it. The most logical thing would be to have two separate buttons for Repeat Modes and DSTM (with a player config setting whether or not I want a DSTM button in the first place). But since we want to avoid button inflation, how about a state switching double purpose button with the following menu showing on click: - repeat single - repeat list - repeat off - DSTM on/off - DSTM source -> submenu with potentially loooong list of selectable sources The infinity icon would be shown only if repeat mode is off: blue if DSTM is on, grey if off. And with an additional player config option "DSTM control on/off", guys like me who never want to change their DSTM settings could remove DSTM logic from the now playing screen completely and have pretty much the standard repeat button which is all they need.
