The fact that I still don't fully get your idea means that it is either
too complicated or ingenious or both. But I think we're pretty close.
Cycling with single click is good. Repeat off can be replaced by DSTM,
however it is currently set up. Cycling does not change the setting of
DSTM and does not enable or disable it. Icon is displayed blue if DSTM
on, grey if off. Long-press opens a DSTM menu where you can select the
DSTM source or disable it. Sounds very clean and logic to me and meets
all my requirements. What's not to like?
