I've got some more information and the main reason to have the movement
level is to avoid scrolling menu element.

As an example, lets say we have the menu:

Code:
--------------------

  Classical Music
  Works by Composer
  <Composer>
  <Work>
  <Movement>
  <Song>

--------------------

With some values this could be:

Code:
--------------------

  Classical Music
  Works by Composer
  Some Composer
  Some Work
  First Movement
  Some Composer - Some Work - First Movement

--------------------

Since the SlimServer display is limited in length, a song level
directly after the work level might result in that you can't see the
movement when selecting songs until the display scrolls. With the
movement level you can see the movement directly and just hit play
after selecting the correct movement.

Is this something you like to see directly on the Now Playing screen or
is it something that you like to see when hitting the right arrow in the
Now Playing menu ?

I'm guessing you like to see it directly without hitting the right
arrow ?

the symphony number the only sub category that is reasonable ?
