You will need to enter the tags you want to scan by clicking on the Custom Tag scanning module in the Custom Scan web interface. The tags scanned will be stored in the separate table in the slimserver database called customscan_track_attributes. You can select to make some of your custom tags available as title formats in the Custom Scan section of Server Settings/Plugins. By making a custom tag available as a title format you can show it in all track listings both on Squeezebox and in the web interface. The other way to use the scanned tags is to install the Custom Browse plugin, with this plugin you can create new custom browse menus that makes it possible to browse your music by your custom tags. You can also add information to the song info page in the web interface or browse items in the menu shown when pushing right on a track on the SqueezeBox.
