I don't feel like trying it, as it would mean disturbing a working installation.
But a few points occur to me after looking at the file. 1. It might be worth adding the other lines, corresponding to mplayer_ppc and mplayer_noaltivec, rather than just making the addition for the intel Macs. 2. Because of a Mac/Unix difference in naming conventions, the folder that mplayer.sh goes in in is named 'bin' rather than 'Bin'. 3. You need to warn people that the mplayer.sh file needs to be made executable. If I remember rightly (it's too late at night for me to check that I have the syntax right) to do this, open Terminal type"chmod a+x " (the quote marks are not part of what you type, but the space after x needs to be typed) Now drag mplayer.sh into the Terminal window and its full name gets filled in for you, so you don't have to type it (one of the clever interactions of the Mac GUI with the Unix underpinnings). Now press Return and the change is made for you. -- danco ------------------------------------------------------------------------ danco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
