Oh, and another thought. mplayer (in AlienBBC) uses lame, doesn't it?
And, if so, where will it find lame? My recollection is that the standard installation of lame put it in /usr/local/bin. In which case, mplayer will find it if mplayer itself is in /usr/local/bin. Unfortunately, /usr/local/bin is not in the default PATH for a Mac. Of course this can be changed, but if this is in fact necessary it is harder than the "Show Package Contents twice" approach. One could move lame so that PATH can reach it, but I am not sure that this is a good idea (both for reasons of tidiness, and in case it interferes with other uses of lame). If something is needed, can mplayer.sh be modified to give the reference to lame, or does that have to be done elsewhere. -- danco ------------------------------------------------------------------------ danco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
