Michael Yes, I have been using 6.5 and 7, but only recently tried these 2 plugins. I made sure to delete all traces of ss/sc before trying the fresh installs. By a process of elimination, I am sure the failure to scan is down to these plugins. When I say that, I mean it happens when they are installed - something may well be at the root of the problem, but the plugins are certainly the 'trigger'.
