I could be wrong. It is definitely not just 5 minutes. then again, on the readynas duo, rescanning my music collection takes over night (14 hours) but when I do the same thing on an old XP laptop that I sometimes use as a SC server, it takes one hour total. I haven't tried the ipeng with the XP server. I'll play with that. And the next time I rescan and use the readynas server I'll try to time it better. But the readynas is very slow! (although it streams my flac files just fine, so it does work).
