Nothing has changed inthe basic recording app wavin2cmd - the only thing that has change is the perl code to start the recording app. So the change is in your system config.
Did you upgrade the XP system to Vista or is it a different systems ? Can you make a recording of the a sound and then play it back and find what is the correct speed (i.e. what % do you have to slow down to get normal) ?
