Hey bpa: Got your cd player plugin working on Ubuntu 8.10, but no dice with your Wave Input Plugin 1.03.
Tried setting up a "wavin:default" favorite and then tried playing it via an SB3. It perpetually says, "Connecting...". No noticeable errors in the log...
